At the Music Playground our “Small Steps” classes gently and playfully develop fundamental musical skills of beat, rhythm and pitch through activities to foster listening, movement, careful use of instruments and joy in singing. Our carefully created curriculum, is based on Early Childhood Research and the principles of the Suzuki and Kodály methods, led by teachers accredited to teach in these methods. 🥰 Joy and connection through music making with others 🌱 Grow musical potential, by following the natural process of language acquisition 🎶 Stimulate imagination through joy-filled music making including singing, instrument exploration, rhymes and stories 👩‍👦👨‍👧 Encourage constructive social interaction and cooperation with other children and their families 🎹 Seamless transition to learning an instrument with a qualified Suzuki teacher from three years old Term 1 runs from Wednesday 29 January to Saturday 5 April (8x Mon, 9x Tue&Sat, 10xWed,Thu,Fri) Note there are no classes on Saturday 8 March or Monday 10 March (Labour Day weekend)
