First Steps Violin is a small group class (up to 4 children and their carers) introducing the Suzuki philosophy of education and preparing them to transition to private lessons after one or two terms. The class is small enough to allow for individual attention while creating a positive social environment. First Steps Violin allows students to apply their Playtime skills such as pitch, rhythm listening and turn-taking while introducing strong foundations of violin technique and playing simple songs on the violin. 🎶 Use this class concurrently as an extension to Playtime classes 🥰 Joy and connection through music making with others 🎹 Gentle transition to individual violin lessons using the Suzuki method Prerequisites: Children must be enrolled in a Playtime class Term 4 runs from Monday 6 October to Tuesday 16 December (11 Mondays, 10 other days) Note there are no lessons on Tuesday 4 November due to public holiday
