Small Steps (Casual)

Service Description

Because life can be unpredictable, we also offer casual lessons. Casual places are subject to term based bookings, and they are generally made available for booking a day or two before the start of the term. At the Music Playground our “Small Steps” classes gently and playfully develop fundamental musical skills of beat, rhythm and pitch through activities to foster listening, movement, careful use of instruments and joy in singing. Our carefully created curriculum, is based on Early Childhood Research and the principles of the Suzuki and Kodály methods, led by teachers accredited to teach in these methods. 🥰 Joy and connection through music making with others 🌱 Grow musical potential, by following the natural process of language acquisition 🎶 Stimulate imagination through joy-filled music making including singing, instrument exploration, rhymes and stories 👩‍👦👨‍👧 Encourage constructive social interaction and cooperation with other children and their families 🎹 Seamless transition to learning an instrument with a qualified Suzuki teacher from three years old
